On my woodland walk I was lucky to see a very rare sight, this little albino squirrel was close to my home, we watched him busy foraging for a long time.
This picture was taken about 30 feet away so not the best, hopefully we might see him again to take a better one. Searching on Google I found that albino squirrels in the UK are 1 in 100,000, if this is correct then we have indeed had a very special encounter.

How sweet - I've never seen one of those before, I need to google them! x

ReplyDeleteThat is quite an interesting find near your home. He would probably like some peanuts in the shell. I hope that you can see him again many times. Hopefully you'll be able to get closer and closer in time.
