Advent

It's so nice to come home to a cosy house with Christmas decorations - this is my favourite chair in the conservatory - deceptive as it is freezing cold out there - but our oil radiator sorts that out.

We had a sprinkling of snow yesterday.  On the phone lines at work I quickly discovered that some parts of the UK got 5 inches dumped in an hour causing a gridlock of cars and icy conditions.

Do you have fairy lights outside?  Driving home last night through my estate there were lots of houses lit up and I smiled all the way home. We have some too - will show you another time.

I made these little clay star decorations - every year I enjoy making something new for the house. They were very easy - a child would love doing them with air dry clay and pastry cutters.
What have you been doing?

Today it's my youngest boy's 14th birthday so we have cake and family time,  Thankyou for visiting me, hope you can stop to leave a comment about how you have been decorating your home.
