Bluebells

Too pretty to keep for my end of month post ... my walk in the woods today - a carpet of bluebells in all directions, followed by a shady glade of celandine near the stream....

A very special end to a restful weekend.

  3. I saw bluebells today for the first time in forever, though they did look droopy and sad and quite, quite weather-beaten- like the rest of us here! Your shots look much healthier! Hope your week will continue aglory x

  6. So glad that you couldn't wait! If there is anything in all the world that I would truly like to do (still) it is to walk amidst the bluebells in the woods!! Just catching up & realised that I missed your last post. All just lovely Miss watery watercolours! Much love to you & all sweet spring greetings. Would you like some of my autumn leaves? Funny juxtaposition isn't it! Catherine x0x0x

I know a little patch of Lily of the Valey in our woods ...they're my secret! Not blooming quite yet, though.

  12. We will definitely be taking a picnic tea into the bluebell wood this week!

It was one of our favourite evenings last year, just sitting in the midst of them.

I love Celandine too, such pretty flowers.
