Meadow Flowers



Meadow flowers on silk scarf.  I am obsessed with clover at the moment!



Looking forward to the hottest weekend this year in the UK.  Painting in the garden, a barbeque, walk in the woods.... what will you be doing?


Method: This was something like 45 inches long, made easier mounted on freezer paper.  I used water to dilute the colour for the background, which was painted in after the detail.

    Pretty clover and a nice pod looking sort of like a poppy. Good painting, Betty. Seems like you are liking the freezer paper method...good results.

    This is beautiful - so delicate. I tried silk painting for the first time this week. I didn't get on very well with the gutta so I made a tie dye scarf in pinks, turquoise and lilac. Maggie xx
