Windmill Church

Tonight I went to the little church in the windmill.  It was tiny, much smaller than I expected, probably about the size of my living room with 50 wooden chairs with a piece on the back to hold the Bible and hymn books.

These pictures are courtesy of Google as it would have been inappropriate to snap pictures - the alter was very pretty today with jam jars full of wild flowers.

.   I have also been out walking dogs today in the woods.

Have a good week everyone.

    1. It was really special - I think there will be one more service in the Summer months - then it closes - the little road up there is very dangerous and could never be undertaken in heavy rain or snow!

  2. How quaint & delightful. I love character filled set-ups like that. The jam jar flowers sound just perfect. No, I don't suppose you could very well sit there snapping away saying "oh it's just for my blog..hope you don't mind!" I always love the wild of your woodlands. I do wish that I could adopt your toadstool for my fairy garden! Much love Catherine x0x0x

    1. It had a very special atmosphere Elizabeth, a very short servie and only about 18 people present - all quite eldery but very friendly - they invited me to their tin tabernacle - will give it a try!
