The Wood Fairy

This is how I see wood fairies - mine is painted on silk, she is quite tall so tricky to show you her in all her glory.  Birds nest in her branches, she wears a woody crown and her dress is of leaves, foxgloves and berries.

the second picture is of her dress

Thankyou for following me over to my new blog. I am not posting on Yappy any more but will keep the old blog so followers can find me if they want to.

  8. just beautiful! I love your work.

I wear cardis all year long too. I don't get excited about summer, I'm not keen on showing my arms - or body - at all! Even summer dresses have cardis thrown over them!

I got mine from Woolovers.com. It was £25 + £3 p&p, which I thought was pretty good. They have tons of choice, but I'm plotting on buying same one in black later on this week, you hit the nail on the head when you said a black cardi would look fab with a bith a bit of embellshment, and I fully intend to do that too!
