Warm and Cosy

There's something aboutthe homely feel of a hearth isn't there? whether it's a bonfire, a coal fire on a winters day, or a chiminea on a day when we had 90f sunshine only a few hours earlier!

  1. Oh we did this too- but on Saturday night, when it stopped raining for an evening! (Always very bemused when hear hosepipe bans on national news!) Isn't it so lovely! Even if you do have to wash the reekiness of smoke out of everything afterwards!

  2. Hi Betty! That looks FUN! I think we need a little portable fire pit! Oh, by the way, we don't have our own pool. We went to the neighborhood pool by Kelli's house. It's nice because a lot of elderly people live around her and don't use the pool much. It's less crowded than the public pool close to my house. Very few people have backyard pools here.
There is a fluffy black cat in my front yard right now. How's Amber?

  3. G'day. It's amazing how the sight of something like that makes us feel warm and cozy. It's like standing with my bottom towards the wood heater we have here, it's a great feeling. Take care. Liz...
