Broken

Sometimes all the signs are there that it's time to slow down, take more care of yourself and family, appreciate the small but special things in life ..... when you don't pay attention, that's when things go wrong....

That time has come - I cracked my shoulder yesterday tripping on a speed bump in a shop car park... now follow 6 weeks without driving, painting, or dog walking and of course it will make one handed cooking, ironing and cleaning challenging! Oh and my job too - Not sure how that will work out but it will certainly mean a slower pace of life.

The good news is there will still be walks in the woods.  I will be looking for ways to adapt to this inconvenient little blip in life  - it's only temporary after all.

Will still enjoy visiting other bloggers and will have to think up some new ways to be creative.

Next post will be a smiley face I am sure.

  10. thankyou all for your kind messages, today I did a little one handed ironing and a short walk, plenty of rest in between- only day 1 and feel I have achieved quite a lot! Showering was tricky but I put shampoo and conditioner in egg cups measured out ready and it worked ok!
