Spring Flowers



Just painting for my own pleasure today on a nice fat square of silk and some new white paint.
Lilly of the Valley has the most wonderful fragrance which painting can't capture!


If you walked into your garden now, which flowers would you like to find, pick and bring in to brighten up your home?

      Random thought: I once read that you can preserve daffodils by submerging in laundry powder until they dry out - have never tried it - not enough washing powder to spare!

    Love your new painting - adding the white really makes a difference - it's so full of colour.
    Funny you should say that about which flowers to pick and brighten up your home - see my new header!Guess where I got them???:)

      Must be to do with weddings! Yes, white makes a bit of a splash I think will play around some more.

    We don't have very many flowers yet. Your painted blooms are so pretty! I like the outlining.

    Forget - me - nots are all that's available in the garden right now, for me! But that suitsOkay,...I love their mix of blues and mauves.
    Your mixed flower silk painting is just lovely.
    Lily of the Valley smells heavenly, doesn't it? Soon there will be a patch, (semi-wild) in my woods, I have to ration myself to just a few...
